 Thank you for visiting Mayo Tactical Weapons Training Center, my name is Sonny Mayo & lifelong martial art student and instructor for over 30 years. We started teaching Filipino Martial Arts Arnis Kali - Mayo Tactical Eskrima & training law enforcement, qualified civilians for almost 20 years. Since 1992 Mayo Tactical NYC has been providing quality weapons training program to people who wants to learn weapon skills for self-defense. Everything we do is singularly focused at giving you expert professional training in weapons for personal defense in a short period of time.
Mayo Tactical Weapons Training Center is a NYC based tactical training school specializing in defensive use of Edge, Impact, Firearms & the propagation of the Mayo Tactical Multi-Styles Eskrima System of Grand Master Dionisio Canete. We realized a long time ago that not everyone has time nor the money to devote months or ever years of training to be proficient in using weapons for self-defense. We designed different defensive weapon training courses with you the student in mind, these courses are thought in full day, half a day training courses as well as private training format, we believe this is the most efficient and cost effective way of teaching and training qualified students. You will develop basic fundamental weapon skills and learn simple & practical techniques in a day instead of months or years.
All our instructors have decades of martial arts experience and are active & retired law enforcement officers and others are champion fighters & veteran instructors. They are here to provide you with the most effective & up to date training system available without the boot camp/drill instructor mentality. You will be treated with the highest professional courtesy bar none.
